Measured Analytique – Church Administration Building

Overview:

For this project, I was tasked with selecting a local, historic building to physically measure, and develop a watercolor analytique from. I chose the LDS Church Administration Building in Downtown Salt Lake City, because it is a building I have always admired. It is a bold and accurate representation of Greek Revival architecture with its heavy, granite Ionic columns, ornament, and symmetry.
